EFD evaluation offers you the opportunity to get your self assessment analysed and validated by disability experts who will prepare a tailored report evaluating your performance. This also includes entry into the EFD benchmark and awards.
We recommend that you take time to review your self assessment report and put improvements and measures in place where possible. Although doing a self assessment will be invaluable, you could find an EFD evaluation helpful in providing expertise and guidance, particularly in areas where you feel less confident. Entry into the EFD benchmark and awards will allow for recognition of your achievement and effort.
All members receiving an EFD evaluation will receive a personalised accessible report with feedback tailored to your organisation. This report will be stored online and can be downloaded in PDF format.
Members who have their assessments evaluated will have access to the Disability Standard website until the EFD benchmark results are released. At the time of the EFD benchmark you will also receive a breakdown showing how your score compares to the benchmarked scores.
Timescales: You can book an EFD evaluation for a month that suits your organisation and work towards a completed submission using the start of this month as a deadline. We will provide a 'deadline counter' for convenience.
EFD evaluations are available throughout the benchmark period (which currently runs from September 2011 - June 2012), although a limited number of slots are available each month.
Once you have gathered your evidence, preparing your submission for an EFD evaluation should take no longer than half a working day to complete.
EFD commits to providing the feedback report by no later that 1 month after your submission deadline.
Resources: You can allocate one super-user to manage the process for your organisation. The super-user can allocate other colleagues to help take part. Each member will be entitled to a thirty minute 'completion help' telephone meeting prior to submission.
Storage: The Disability Standard will store ratings and evidence uploaded so you can copy them across to future assessments if you wish.
Cost: More information about the cost of an EFD evaluation including our early bird offer can be found in our EFD evaluation prices section.
Additional benefits: Each member receiving an EFD evaluation is entitled to one free teleconference OR one meeting at the EFD offices to talk through your report.
EFD gold partners receive one free EFD evaluation per benchmark year and are given priority access to the EFD evaluation booking process. You are also entitled to a free meeting on your premises to talk through the EFD evaluation report and a follow up session (on request) to further a particular aspect of the report recommendations.
All members receiving a formal EFD evaluation will be entered into the next EFD benchmark and awards (scheduled for September 2012).
