Who should complete the Assessment?

While an individual or team may take responsibility for finalising and submitting the Assessment, we strongly recommend that you use a range of information sources and consult with different employees to help decide on the final rating for each question. To do this you might establish a project group inviting key members or representative groups of the different strands within the organisation to comment on and oversee the completion of the Assessment. You could hold focus groups to gather opinions or you may wish different sections of your organisation to complete the parts of the Assessment that are appropriate for them.

Employers’ Forum on Disability (EFD) issue participants with a single username and password providing access to secure materials such as the online Assessment, Directory, Guide to Completion, event registration and feedback forms.

Your organisation will be provided with an Assessment submission code. It is recommended that this code should remain with the Disability Standard key contact to avoid the risk of the Assessment being submitted either incomplete or before sign off.
