I'm not sure what some questions or terminology mean - what should I do?

It is helpful to refer to the Directory, which follows the Assessment question by question.

It explains what each question refers to and lists the codes of practice, legislation and best practice guides that relate to each question. The Directory also contains a glossary of terms. Help text is provided for each question and evidence request.
