The Welsh Assembly Government had has run placement scheme for disabled undergraduates for the last 3 years which has shown an increase in up take. Leicestershire Constabulary have worked closely with RNIB in terms of training students in application forms, interview techniques as well as holding an open day. The Edinburgh employment initiative from IHG is worthy of note as is the work Sainsbury’s have done with Mencap Workright Programme.
